Are you working smart as you trust in God?
Ruth 2:7 - …She asked me this morning
if she could gather grain behind the harvesters. She has been hard at work ever
since, except for a few minutes’ rest in the shelter.”
Trusting in God
is as important as working hard and smart. In Ruth 2:7 we were told Ruth worked hard
and only took a few minutes to rest. She could have thought about other ways to
provide for Naomi as she was a Moabite woman who did not worship the God of the
Israelites. Yet, she humbled herself and worked hard to provide for her mother-in-law.
The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10
Even while we were with you, we
gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.” The
Bible is very clear about the importance of working and even commands that
anyone who refuses to work should not eat.

- When working hard remember that God will bless your effort
